Overview

CALL CENTER SALES MANAGER 

 

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

Hands-on Manager that will build, maintain the forecasts sales pipeline, creates and develops account plans. Works closely with Coverall Sales Managers, outside sales, channel partners and/or end customers to move sales opportunities to closure. May generate and qualify leads to create new sales opportunities. Sets and executes sales strategy for assigned territory or industry vertical.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Manage the Lead Generation Sales Associates (Inside Sales) staff in generating qualified potential leads to forward to the Outside Sales Consultant team.  
  • Meet core KPI metrics including standard call and revenue metrics.
  • Collaborates with Sales Managers on strategic customer target/territories
  • Builds targeted sales pipeline.
  • Perform performance reviews/goals/targets.
  • Manage monthly P & L Statement.

 

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent in any field (preferably Sales)
  • 6-10 years of relevant work experience in call centers or high volume outbound calling or telemarketing or inside sales environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in managing a staff of 10-15 inside sales/call center agents in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience building processes for outbound calling execution.
  • Experience mentoring and training inside sales staff.
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing a P & L statement.
  • Able to manage, work and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Requires a hunter approach or strategic "farmer” or relationship selling approach.
  • Foundational knowledge in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, which allows businesses to manage business relationships and the data and information, associated with them.

 

 

 

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 

The environmental factors/and or physical requirements of this position include the following: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit potential customer locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 to 20 pounds. The employee is required to have good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate computer equipment and read information. The employee is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
