Overview

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for marketing B2B and B2C services by supporting the development and implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns and communication strategies. As Marketing Specialist, you will be project managing, implementing strategic initiatives, coordinating efforts and assets, and taking ownership of key projects. You will also be responsible for compiling business intelligence data for reporting purposes

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate marketing resource portal by coordinating requirements with graphics department, inventorying stock, placing orders, verifying receipt, etc.
  • Manages BI reporting by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analyses, new lead information
  • Responsible for updating website, intranets through Coverall’s CMS platform
  • Researches competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising; maintaining research databases
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and new exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
  • Responsible for marketing collateral portal, inventory levels, distribution and billing
  • Manages internal and Franchised Owner programs; such as GEMS Franchise Owner Scholarship Franchised Owner of Year
  • Manages franchise affiliate program and partnerships
  • Reporting, including: monthly promo calendar, Agency reporting, BI/CRM reconciliation
  • Responsible for monitoring and sending internal communications for company through marketing communications inboxes
  • Marketing liaison for franchise training and 1st year journey development (training guides, starter kits, apparel, etc.)
  • Marketing support for VP and Managers
  • Project management and/or coordination for other marketing and company needs as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • Excellent communicator, writer, and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to make informed decisions
  • 3+ years marketing and project management experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Digital experience necessary
  • Hands on experience working in a CMS platform is required
  • Expert level in Microsoft Office Products such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word a must
  • Must be able to construct and deliver (verbally) presentations
  • Ad Agency or prior brand marketing experience preferred
  • Social media savvy
  • Experience with reporting on research results and understanding the customer behavior
  • Additional skills include may Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation, inbound marketing, CMS campaign set-up and blogging
  • Ability to work with multiple functional departments and levels within organization      
  • High energy and a great attitude
