    We are currently seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales to manage our sales teams for our Central Division.

     

    The Regional Vice President of Sales will provide support and leadership to a diverse field sales staff, across a large geographic   area to ensure maximum execution of the strategic sales plan, and achievement of the budgeted sales plan. The RVP Sales will help field leaders to maximize inside and outside sales rep effectiveness by helping to determine their training and developmental needs, providing direction, and personally providing some of the training needed.

     

     This position will be based in Chicago- Downers Grove-(highly preferred) MID-West- optional with  extensive travel is required.

    Responsibilities

     

     

    • Lead & support a team of 5 to 10 sales managers, and mentor some general managers, who help you to lead a sales organization of 50 to 100 inside and outside sales representatives.
    • Onboard, coach and continually, develop the sales managers reporting to you.
    • Coordinate, plan and lead the onboarding and ongoing training of sales representatives to ensure full adoption of and proficiency in Coverall’s sales process.
    • Frequently assess the performance of all sales managers and manage their performance including but not limited to conducting monthly reviews, developing individual coaching plans, providing resources and assistance, and leading them to continual results improvement.
    • Determine training and development needs by traveling extensively to regional support centers to spend time with all members of local office teams.
    • Constantly train sales staff in the field, in the classroom, and via phone/web conferencing.
    • Provide weekly feedback to the sales and/or the general managers in the support centers visited to share information on the successes and opportunities of each of the sales team members.
    • Coach and mentor all sales team members in a positive way fostering a relationship of trust and open communication.
    • Assist with monthly sales rep reviews and written performance plans as needed.
    • Assist with contract negotiation, helping local teams to collaborate with our Legal contracting team, etc.
    • Collaborate daily with the DVP Operations to maximize alignment between sales and operations. Ensure maximum team effectiveness and support of our franchised business owners through territory management franchised business owner evaluation.
    • Collaborate closely with fellow RVP’s, and all key functional corporate partners in HR, Marketing, Finance, Legal

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree required

     

    • A successful record of accomplishment of multi-location sales management experience, leading other sales leaders in direct selling and consultative sales environments.

     

    • Proven capability in Commercial Sales, Sales Training and must have strong sales process acumen.

     

    • Must have the ability to interact with senior leadership and provide market knowledge in the business planning process.

     

    • Ability to translate strategic and tactical plans into execution at the field level.

     

    • Ability to teach and demonstrate self-generation of leads via multiple methods including but not limited to tele prospecting, canvassing, and referral-generation.

     

    • Must be able to demonstrate successful implementation of the Coverall Sales Process in the field on live calls, and in an office-training environment.

     

    • Competence using computer systems, communication tools, and software programs such as Microsoft Office and a CRM tool.

     

    • Must be highly capable and willing to do hands-on training daily with any sales staff across their division. 

     

    • A professional demeanor with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

     

    • Must be able to demonstrate a developmental coaching style that encourages employees via patience, empathy, enthusiasm, positivity, persuasion and influence.

     

    • Proven ability to create high employee engagement, making his or her work environments a great place for people to work.
